Amy Neault

Amy Neault joined Stevenson’s Board of Education in 2018. She has lived in Kildeer since 2005 with her husband Mark, an orthopedic surgeon whose practice is in Lincolnshire. They have two sons, both recent Stevenson graduates.

Amy has dedicated her adult life to working with children. As an undergraduate student at Northwestern University, she began coaching gymnastics and overseeing numerous early childhood programs for the Evanston Recreation Department. After earning a B.S. in Communication, she continued post graduate work in education at Loyola University while teaching at an early childhood center. Later she would move to the other end of the education spectrum as a college Admissions Officer.

After retiring from college admissions, she volunteered in numerous capacities for KCSD96. Including, chairing the Long Grove Art Fest and numerous other committees. At the same time, serving on PTO Executive Boards at Kildeer Countryside School, Woodlawn Middle School and PTO Coordinating Council with multiple terms as President, Vice President and Treasurer. This work was recognized by the KCSD96 Foundation when she was awarded the Crystal Apple Award for Volunteer of the Year.

At Stevenson, she continues to fulfill her personal mission to enrich the lives of students in and out of the classroom while serving on the school board. She has volunteered for the Stevenson PPA, Sports Boosters, Stevenson Foundation and other community organizations, and currently serves as a mentor for the Stevenson 2 College program.
